BCV studio on the 17th! Need your input

My DH & I are headed for a few days. We are staying in a studio at the BCV.


We have never stayed there & would some hints & you input on how to make this stay the best. Hints such as: the best room locale....etc.

I can not wait! I am so excited!

It depends on what you are interested in? There is a pool view that is really nice. It is lit up really nice in the evenings, but sometimes can get a bit noisy. There is a woods view that is very quiet, but not much to look at but woods. There is an Epcot view, where you will either get to see the tops of World Showcase or Spaceship Earth, but you will also be close to the road (the road noise doesn't bother me but others have said it does. There is also a view of the walkway between BC and BCV with is good if you like to people watch.

The other things you might consider is do you want to be close to the main elevators or if you have a car you may want to be close to the pool elevator.

It is the first time of staying on-property. My mom lives in St. Cloud, so we always stayed with her. But I got a super fantastic deal that I couldn't pass up. So we will spend a few days with her, then a few days at Disney.

I am so excited. It's been 1 year since I've been to Disney.

I like the pool view at BCV as a first choice, then the woods view. The Epcot view is the least desirable IMHO, because you have a view of the top of Spaceship Earth and some of the IllumiNations fireworks, but also the road, the raod noise etc.

I don't find the pool view to be particularly noisy unless oyu are out on the deck overlooking the pool, and then in general it's happy noise of kids having fun swimming etc!

Just so you know, I've requested the "woods view" at BCV several times, only to be told by MS that there is no such thing (last time was just Friday). When I described the area I wanted (which views woods), they said it was considered "Courtyard view". Yet the front desk at BC said to put "woods" on reservation. But on Friday, MS said they couldn't do that-just "Courtyard". So who knows what I'll be viewing!
