I talked to my rep yesterday and a sales manager today and BCV is having million dollar sales days. I was told at this pace, Feb use year will be gone in 2 months then they'd move to March. A flier is going out to all Beach Club resort guests in the data base next week telling about BCV. It seems the location (like BWV) is well liked and the demand they are seeing is huge. Just thought I'd pass this on....spruce

Oh no! We were thinking about adding 100 points when we there in May and February is our use year. Will they allow you to add on with a different use year if yours is sold out?

My guide told me that an add-on of 150 points could be a different use year but that smaller contracts had to be in your use year. This seems to be a change from when OKW/BWV were close to sellout when they let you have less then 150 in a different use year. This is what I was told, I'd check it out to be sure since conflicting stories have been told by sales guides over the years....spruce

I bet if you said the only way you would buy is for "X" number of points(under 150), they would find a way to get you in a new use year.

Eva,

I don't think DVC ever allows an add-on of points in a different use year... If that were the case I'd be sitting on extra BWV points... My use year ran out & we were out of luck.... we've been on the wait list for a year now.... So, if you know you want to add on, just do it now, you don't want to be caught in our situation.... But, you might also want to consider that sales will probably slow down within the next few weeks or so... there were a lot of people that knew they wanted BCV's, so when they came up, people jumped at the chance to finally buy in... I wouldn't expect sales to continue so briskly, but hey you never know! So if you want to add on, I'd just do it now...

Our VWL use year sold out and a supervisor told me 2 weeks ago that the only way we could purchase a different use year was if we bought at least 150 points. I have also read this in our VWL paperwork. But, I wouldn't bet on anything, since I've been told incorrect info before.
