Just read this over on the Resorts Board.....it says they began taking cash reservations (rack rates) for BCV today with an anticipated August 1 opening. Unconfirmed but the thread has some people who have called and inquired.

Unconfirmed, but DVC point reservations will be accepted beginning in March for dates after August 1, 2002.

I'll try to get more info next week, assuming we don't have confirmation with an announcement on Sunday.
