BCV Room Ready?

I readily admit to confusion as to room ready and whether all DVC resorts use the Room Ready system. Does BCV use the Room Ready system? We will be checking in at 8 AM to get our DDP credits before heading to MGM. Will that increase our chances of our villa being ready by 4 PM? I guess the recent threads regarding the increased number of villas not being ready until after 4 PM is making me a bit nervous. We have 6:20 PM ADRs and will need to shower and change after a hot day at the parks in August. I just tried to get later a later ADR with no luck. So any help in explaining how the Room Ready system works at BCV will be helpful! I want to plan accordingly.
TIA!

I've been to BCV 6 times, and I haven't yet figured out whether or not they use room ready. It seems that sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Once I showed up at 10:45 am, was shown what was available, and got a room. A couple times I've had to wait until about 3:00 for the preassigned room-no choices given! And once after waiting, I was given a room in an area I didn't want, asked nicely if there was a room in the area of *** (a room I'd had and loved, it met all my view requirements) "Oh, you liked that room-we've had it available all along!" Yes, they made me wait for a room which didn't meet my requests but had a room all along that met all my requests (kind of puzzling). Anyways, who knows if they'll use room ready for your trip.

I was just at BCV. I checked in at 11 and was told my room was not ready. I asked if if a couple other rooms by # were available but was told no but those rooms were not my assigned room number. She did tell me I had a room with a big balcony. (Rm #566) I did see a chart with codes that the cm would use at the front desk. Some had codes for room ready, some had codes for room change, and something about room assigned. I thought that was interesting but I was not offered a room ready. I waited and was glad I did.

When we checked in on Jun 1 at 1:30PM, our room was ready. We had no requests at all. That may be the key to getting something more quickly. This is the first time in a long time that a room was ready when we checked in.

It won't increase the chances of your villa being ready, but it will increase your chances of taking advantage of "Villa Ready".
