BCV Resales on TSS

So, what's up with all of the BCV resales on TSS lately ? When I purchased VWL last spring, there were 20+ VWL resales but finding a BCV resale was like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Now there are 16 BCV resales and 16 VWL resales...has BCV lost some of it's lustre or is this just part of the cyclical nature of the DVC resorts ??

Were they smaller contracts? Could be commercial renters morphing points into BCV contracts are stymied. So they are selling them off???? Just a guess.

December/January usually has more resales including BCV as people are going to have to pay dues/bills etc...

CPTJAK is probably right. Not many small point contracts available. But some were really stripped and still wanting a hight price.

When you say "stripped" what exactly do you mean? I'm looking at a BCV add-on and want to get the best deal. What should I look for?

No points are available in the current Use Year and either none or only a few in the next UY. So you don't get points for the first two years you own. In that case, require the current owner to pay the dues for all the years that they used up the points since you pay dues on the calendar year and not use year. Some of these also cannot close until later in 2007 since the current member obviously has reservations made for the Spring or early summer.

Look to see if there are any banked points and current year points still left.
