BCV Questions

We're booked (cash ressie) for a 2 BR BCV in May. Availability for a 2 BR was non-existent when I tried to rent points so I grabbed one at an AP rate when it became available thru CRO. Still better $$$ than my 2 connecting BC rooms I previously had.

Q1 - Since I am doing this through CRO, does that mean I get standard hotel clean/towel service daily?

Q2 - If I request an upper floor, close to the BC lobby with Epcot view - is that possible? I don't know if the close to the BC lobby and Epcot view contradict each other - I can't tell from the map.

Thanks for any help!

Yes you will!

While I'm sure some are closer than others, none of the rooms are particularly close to the lobby. In fact, if you'll have access to a car you might want to be in the opposite direction since the villas lead right up to the self-park lot.

As far as the "Epcot View" goes, DVC has reportedly stopped letting members request an "Epcot View" on their reservations. The only explanation that makes any sense is that it might be related to the show building for the new "Soarin" attraction blocking part of the view. :confused3

If CRO will let you request the Epcot View, I would personally limit requests to:

Smoking Preference
High Floor
Epcot View

Adding yet another requests really limits the number of rooms that will match your criteria.

Oh, and do be aware that there is a road running right along the Epcot side of the BCV. If you happen to get a lower floor on that side you may get some noise in the room from the passing traffic.

Correct, TJ. I made ressies for BCV a couple of weeks ago, and the CM told me that they were no longer accepting requests for "Epcot View" given the pending opening of "Soaring" and that it will at least partially block the view.

Make sure you *remind* the CM when you check in that you are eligible for daily mousekeeping. When we paid cash at WLV in August, our card said DVC member and they assumed we didn't get housekeeping.
