I have a map of the locations but looking for a section that is "quiet"
from experience being near the pools at disney you can be subject to a bit more noise than usual so we want to just request a "Quiet area" at the villas...and no it doesnt have to be an epcot view.

Any recommendations on which areas are quiet areas? Im assuming the areas facing away from the pool + Boardwalk area..

thanx

Here is a report of the BCV room layout.

I'd request a courtyard view, but any room identified by the yellow or red areas on this map should meet your needs. I don't think of any of the areas as noisy though and you might be pleasantly surprised with any location- none seem to be particularly loud.

thank you so much for the info!!!!!

We've stayed three times, each time with an Epcot view (facing "the road"). We've never experienced any significant noise, either inside or outside BCV, that didn't come from our two boys. If we want noise we have to go to the BC lobby, the restaurants, or Stormalong Bay.

Last year we were in the yellow by the courtyard, and we were very pleased. We could people watch if we wanted to.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest! With the Woods view, I found that CMs were pushing big service carts, rumbling along at all hours of the day. And with the Epcot view, the service road was too loud and distracting for me. Courtyard view's the best, IMHO. Also, you get the nice Disney "bush music" in the backround with the balcony door open.

how bout one with a view of the "canal" im gonna call it....where the boats come by....thats what im thinking about..like out in the back...

I know boardwalk has ones that are right there by the cancal/riverway

last year we were on the 4th floor overlooking the quiet pool and had no problems with noise. (important to note that DW is VERY sensitive to noise and she was fine).

The "canal" in the map has no boats. It is more of a streambed that sometimes supports small alligators. The friendship boats cannot be seen from BCV, but that canal is located beyond the woods view area on the other side of the BC and walkway to International Gateway.

Just wondering what you would request if we want to be near the walkway to the BC..looking at the map...the yellow would be near what we want...we are in the process of buying now at BCV :cool1: so I am new to the villas but have stayedat the BC.....thanks...for any help..... :wave2: amy

That's called a "courtyard view", what we had last month. If you look at the entrance to the Villas, there's a lovely Magnolia (I think that's what it is) tree, with white flowers. Our room was on the third floor, right near that tree-lovely!

Interesting! Do the CM's use the sidewalk behind the BCV as a path for their carts? I hadn't thought of that one. That would be annoying, perhaps worse then the service road. We did have an epcot view last time and the service road was a little distracting, not terrible by any means, but the thump thump of the cars going over the junctions in the bridge was tiresome. Although, we didn't have to worry about privacy and the fireworks were fun.

I just want to add, that I think all the views are for the most part quiet, and I'm just nit picking at the details.
