I love the DIS, but not having the ability to search for something that I know I read about a few months back is frustrating.

It turns out that I need to get some work done on my upcoming trip in a few days. Not a lot of work mind you, but some systems monitoring and fixing of various day to day issues in some databases.

So, I really would love to have the high speed internet access available to me. Trying to avoid the dreaded dial up. I *think* the BCV does have that for $10 a day.

Can anyone confirm this?

ADVthanksANCE!

sgtdilbert;
I had the same question a couple of week ago for our trip in Feb/March. The DIS had a breif article on the rolloaut of High Speed access at The Beach Club in room via your cable and NIC, AND WIRELESS in lobby and even at the pool! As I recall the rates were hourly or daily. Maybe $14.00 for 24 hours of wireless. I could not find the link, but maybe this will help you. Hopefully someone elso will post the link. There are lots of us who need a little web access everyday on vacation or not.

Have Fun, I've got 43 days to wait.

The cost will be $9.95 per day. When I was there at Christmas, the box was on the wall, but there was not a cable to connect to it. I had one of my own, and plugged it in. When I tried to connect, it came up as "Welcome to the Coronado Springs Resort" I never tried to get on from there, but I did find it strange that came up.

We were there at the same time. We had our own cable and did connect. We called the phone # on the login page first, to make sure it was ok. They said no problem. It worked great! Nice and fast, big change from dial-up that we used to have to use.

We were told our room would be billed. Nothing on the final bill and so far nothing in the mail.:confused: Don't think they have all the gliches out yet.

Great! Thanks for the help!

Much appreciated!

We were also there at Christmas, and used the internet, we also got the message about Coronado Springs Resort and that our room would be charged $9.95 per 24 hours of use. I think we used about 5 lots of 24hours

We were not charged on the room bill, and still not received anything in the post.
