They just installed high speed access in my room today and it work great. It took them about 5 minutes. I'm not sure about the fees yet, but right now it is free...

BTW - I would recommend bringing a longer cable... the one in the room is very short.

Where is the connection in the wall? Which room and which wall in the room? When we were there they started working in the corner of the Living Room where the coffee table is. I was hoping they would put it by the desk in the Master Bedroom.

I've read that it is $10 per day in the standard rooms, but since we pay the maintenance on DVC rooms, will it be any cheaper? (i.e. like the 35 cent phone calls instead of the 75 cents for non-DVC members?) THAT would be a nice perk!

The only connection appears to be in the living room by the end table that has the phone.

The installed what appears to be a small cisco box. I'll take a better look tomorrow before I leave to make sure. It's late now as we just got back from MNSSHP.

Browsing the internet seems to be reasonable, but after doing a speed test, I've found that I am only getting about 250k - but that's still faster than dialup. I wonder how they have this all hooked up and if the speed will decrease if more people are using it. Right now, its almost 2am so I can't imagine there are a lot of people up right now.

I hope you enjoyed MNSSHP as much as we did. This was our first time, and I absolutely loved it. Lots of people had told me, but we had never had the opportunity to go when it was happening. I am definitely planning a trip for this next year.

We went on Oct 16, and our pictures arrived on Wednesday the 22nd. That was very fast.

If you are going to be there a bit longer, do you mind asking any Mgr type how we can find out what the music is that starts out the parade with the Pooh characters. I want to know where to get that music. Can't get it out of my head.

We just checked out today and got home 1/2 hr ago. We were in Room 129, a 1br. I thought I saw a box near the phone jack for ethernet! Cool!!!
