Preparing for our 2 weeks at WDW in June. The first week will be me and our 3 children at the VWL (Studio); When we move to the BCV-1 Bedroom for the second week I would really like a great view. DH will be visiting for 2 days and want to give him the WOW! effect since buying DVC was my project! He doesn't get to join us very often due to our business, so I really want him to be impressed when he does manage to come. Any advice/experience with locations/room #'s that were particularly good? Last time kids and I were there we were on the 5th floor (#559), end of hall, close to parking lot elevator, and view of rear of Canada. This was a decent location since we use our car some of the time.

Thanks.

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/beachclub.pdf

This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

The file is in adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:

Great info!:D Thanks so much. I'm really torn between which is most important - being close to the main elevator (closer to the BC Lobby, pool,...) or being close to the second elevator (parking lot). Last trip I used by car a few times, and gradually loaded it as our trip neared check-out day. That was really convenient, but it adds a significant number of steps to the trip over to EPCOT. Problems, problems!! Should I be closer to the car to go to DTD and Blizzard Beach, or should I be closer to EPCOT and BW so we can hop back and forth more easily! Such difficult decisions. :o
