BCV...garden grocer or gas station

We are staying at bcv and we would typically get garden grocer but I understand that there is a gas station within walking distance...which is cheaper? We are staying at a studio...

The Hess Station is accross the street from BWV. You can take a boat or walk around the lake to BWV then right out the entrance and the gas station is right in front of you. The costs I am unable to help you with.

I have never been to the Hess station...that being said there was someone on either the trip or food report boards that had taken pictures of the offerings at the gas station and it looked like pretty typical gas station food. Frankly from what I saw I would use We Go Shop or Garden Grocer. If I can find the post I will update this.

I haven't been to the Hess station either, but I have used wegoshop. I was very happy with the food and service, but it seems there was a minimum dollar amount per order. So, I would check that out to help make the decision. Remember, if you are walking back to BWV from the Hess station, groceries (beverages especially) could get really heavy.

The Hess has 12pks of soda and water that are def cheaper than garden grocer. They also have beer, a couple cheap wines, chips, snack type stuff, like donuts and trail mix and chips. They have personal pizzas for around 5or 6 dollars, breakfast sandwiches for around 2 bucks, ,hot dogs, cans of soup and microwavable ramen type soup bowls, some single fruits, all cheaper than GG, or disney prices.
You could walk over and back, but if you need a lot of things, have someone go with you to help with the bags, or be ready to make two trips, or I wonder if you could call a cab? It sure would be a short ride.
I know they have a few canned items , but not sure if they have any frozen things.

The hassle of walking to Hess is not worth it in my book. I'm guessing it would be ¾ mile or more walk door to door from your villa. I would order from wegoshop or gardengrocer. It will be more convenient, better selection and I'll bet that the prices will be better too, making up for some of the service fee. JMHO. YMMV.
