BCV Free Hotel Incentive-Hard to Book?

How difficult do you believe it would be to book the free nights stay at one of the deluxe hotels? We already have a trip planned for May 19-May 25 but our guide didn't think it would be a problem to use our nights then.

As bookings have been down for the WDW resorts, I wouldn't think it would be that difficult to use your free nights. It might be a little harder if you want to go at a busier time (spring break, summer, etc). If there are a limited number of rooms available with this promotion, then the earlier you book it, the easier it will be to get a reservation.

Well, we bought at BCV and took the hotel stay incentive. Since we got 260 points, our guide convinced them to let us have two 5 night certificates instead of 1-7 night and 1- 3 night. That way we can use them both at the same time to bring extra family along. We hope to use them in May but if not we can try for March when our DD has spring break.

I can't imagine that May 2002 will be a problem, especially since they recently released a nationwide discount code for late April through early June. If bookings were strong, I doubt they would have done that.

I was told by my guide that once all the paper work is done, "completed and recieved status", you will be able to book your "free" stays. You don't have to wait till March 6th, or closing.

Black out dates have been posted as Feb 14-18, 2002; March 28-April 1, 2002; Dec 25-31, 2002; Feb 13-17, 2003; and April 17-21, 2003, and no one has hinted these are incorrect. All stays must be completed by the end of June 2003. My guide also said that there is no "artificial" limit to these stays.

You can book any resort listed on a "first come, first served" basis, which is only limited by the actual number of standard view/type rooms available. There is no artificial limit like some of the discounted rates (AP, DC, or code). The free stays may be booked as little as one week in advance or up to 7 months in advance. Rooms may not be upgraded at time of booking, or at check in.

I updated my above response. All free stays must be booked by June 1st, 2003, and completed by July 1st, 2003. Sorry for the incorrect info.
