My DD's Spring Break is the first week of Apr '07. This is also Easter Week. How crowded is BCV (SAB)? We probably will not hit the parks, but try Seaworld and have 4 or 5 days of relaxing by the pool. Thanks in advance for the help!

We were at SAB two weeks ago and it was busy-hard to find a chair and it was not yet Easter week. However, the BCV quiet pool was very nice and uncrowded - we preferred it!

Now as for Sea World.....if you think you're going to escape the crowds by going there Easter week you might want to think again. During Easter week '05 we stood in line over 45 minutes just to get in. It was still a very enjoyable day but very crowded! It was during the week but I don't recall what day it was. We were very surprised at the crowds. We said we'd never go again Easter week to Sea World or WDW but we're thinking about it again next year  It's when our spring break lands so what do you do :)

Exactly...I figured their would be crowds, but wanted to get a feel for how large they would be. This will be the first time that we will be home and not go into one of the WDW parks.

That time I stay away, too crowded.

Just so you know--next year is the year that Spring break meets Easter. A lot of us who are midwesterners get spring break in the first week of April(a fixed week), and next year we are combined with all of you who have the floating Easter week. The last time that happened, Tennessee highways were so crowded they looked like a parking lot! We actually got out of our cars on the expressway, and walked around! When I finally got to my hotel in KY, there were 140 people waiting in the lobby for my reserved room!!! It was SO-o-o-o awful!! Those who flew had numerous delays. This is beyond crowded. If you actually have a choice, you might want to choose a different week. I don't have a choice, so I will spend my week golfing and at the pool, where it isn't very crowded at all until around 2.

Cruelladeville - that happened to us in 2005. We got to the charter airport at 5:30 a.m. and the lines were outside and it was 30 degrees! We got one of the only places at the Park n' Fly, etc. The whole week was like that!

We don't have a choice next year either.... if we go to WDW we will also stay at the pool and just go into the parks a few days. I'm actually thinking about some type of beach vacation instead so I need to get on the stick and look around!

Cruelladeville - Yes we know that's the first week of April also runs into Easter. That's one of the reasons we want to go. We plan on going down on April 1 and stay until April 5. Then we plan on traveling down to Sarasota to spend the holiday with family and fly back on April 9.

We are looking to go to Seaworld, DTD, and plenty of time at SAB! I hope it will be a nice long vacation...
