Hello! We arrive at BCV later this month and wanted to go earlier than check in to swim. Are there changing areas and lockers near the pool? Thanks!

I don't remember lockers, but there are showers available at Stormalong Bay.

Does anybody know if the poolside showers are available now? I have a room booked but cannot use SAB until check out date, so seeing if we'll be able to visit on check out date.

You will need to check in to enable your magic bands, so the life guards can scan you into the pool area.

The bathrooms to the left of Beaches and Cream have showers and allow you to change for the pool if you'd like. Not sure where you'd put stuff - would either need to keep pool side or leave with Bell Services.

Know that they have had waits to get into the pool. Most days while we were there last week between 11:30 - 2:30 it wasn't unusual to see multiple groups waiting to be let into the pool area due to capacity constraints.

We visited our first time back in Feb 2021 and got in first day but got left out the 2nd day due to full capacity. Rookie mistake forgetting that the pools reach to capacity very soon.
I'm glad to hear there are bathrooms to shower up before we take our flight home. We know to get those pool bands early if we want to use the pool.

I'm happy to say I'm a future owner of BCV, passed ROFR last month. I hope points are loaded in time to book Spring 2022 if things are returning back to normal. I would definitely need that home resort advantage.

Congrats! This was our first stay a BCV, not our home resort and likely only available due to the current environment. While we were there we were hearing some resorts (Coronado Springs as example) had 2 hour waits for the pool . I don't think Stormalong was ever more than 20 minutes or so.

We actually (ducks) didn't love BCV. The proximity to Epcot is great and if you have kids the pool is awesome, but otherwise it's a bit out of the way tucked back behind the Beach Club. Our daughter is in high school, so a regular pool is just fine for her (we never used the slide). I think I'd prefer Boardwalk over Beach Club now having been to both. It's a bit further from Epcot but a bit more centered between there and Hollywood Studios. Though, had the Beaches and Cream walk up window been open I'd be 15 pounds heavier and would probably own BCV points right now :P

I have toddler twins, so BCV fits our category for the next 10 years. We actually stayed in BWV too during this covid period when it was available. We love the walk to HS and EPCOT and getting to rope drop without the parking at the park hassle. So no hurt feelings on your thoughts on BCV. I would also own BWV if my husband let me (he told me no more after 5 contracts, lol). Thanks for the info!
