BCV availability during F&W?

Can anyone tell me why BCV has availability during the F&W still? I just checked availability for BCV during September next year for a studio and it's available the whole month. I was shocked, because I've always thought "don't expect any availability at the Epcot resorts unless you book first thing the day the 11 month window opens. Now, we're almost down to 10 months, so I figured for sure nothing would be available. Is this because it's September, not October? I know September is less busy, but this much? Just curious if you think it's this or a reaction to the many changes in ticket costs and the make-up of the F&W.

Though F&W was increased to include the first 3+ weeks and not just part of the last week of Sep a couple years ago, the availability of DVC rooms throughout WDW during Sep has changed little in comparison to what it was before F&W included all of Sep, possibly indicating that DVC members are not changing, in large numbers, their previous usual trip times just because F&W was extended.

Nevertheless, the additional reason BCV is still open is because it is still 9 to 10 months away. Even during October, BCV remains open for much of the time until beginning about 9 months out. It is not one of the resorts that has an issue of filling exactly 11 months out.

Exactly at 7 months prior to our recent late October trip, tried to get a studio at BCV and BWV for a Friday and Saturday night, nothing available, waitlisted for both at 7 months. Decided 2 months into waitlist to keep BCV and waitlist for Poly instead. Much to my surprise about 6 weeks prior to trip, waitlist came through for Poly for both nights. Was booked at AKV Jambo, and was so excited as the pool was being refurbished and we typically spend half days at the pool before heading off to parks and wasn’t thrilled about the prospect of using Kidani pool. During F&W, we do love the convenience of BCV and BWV, but we had an awesome split stay birthday trip at Poly 2 nights and BLT 3 nights!
