BCV at Christmas

I know this sounds pretty crazy but I got a little dilemma that I could use some suggestions on. I had booked a 1 Bdr at BCV for Dec 21-26 in other words Xmas Eve and Xmas day leaving the Friday after Xmas. Well I guess you can call it buyers remorse as we get closer to Xmas but I am starting to question this move. I haven't tried MS yet to see about sliding the dates but I am contemplating going Dec 19 and flying home on Xmas eve Dec 24th. I already know that it will cost me a few $$ :( for the air fare modification but I would much rather have the DW and DS happy then try to pretend that we are having a great time. Anyone have any suggestions for alternatives? Spring break may be an option but we are going on the Disney Cruise Feb 7-14 so going back the next month seams a little excessive. How is the first week of June? We have gone for the past three years at different times but mostly when it is cold in the midwest.

Thanks

I would be doubtful of acommodations available that week, but it wouldn't hurt to call and ask. Is there an issue with DW and DS not wanting to be away from home for Christmas? I would like to try this just once. Not sure it would be my choice every year, but might be kind of fun to try one time.

First week of June isn't too bad as long as you get far enough away from Memorial Day weekend.

Christmas at WDW is a wonderful experience and very magical. We, along with 250,000 (slight exaggeration!) of our closest friends, spent Christmas Day at the Magic Kingdom in 1999. Yes, it was crowded. Yes, it was not home. But it is one of the most magical Christmas days I have ever spent. I was very skeptical the first time I was not home for Christmas, but having now been "away" for Christmas at least 7 times (and planning to be away again this Christmas day), including at least 3 times where I was separated from my family (including two Christmas' spent without any blood or marriage relative), I can tell you that the psychology is the hard thing to overcome the first time. But after that, it becomes really fun!

I don't really understand what the remorse is about or what the issue is from your post.
