BCV $5 discount ??

I know this has been covered many times, but I can't find the right threads.

A friend of mine wants to buy into BCV's, after seeing how wonderful DVC was while holidaying with us. I thought the current discount was $5 off or X number of nights in a hotel. She has been told it is $5 off, but they buy back points. Isn't that MB ?
Did it change ? I thought the $5 off was just that and not MB. Can anyone please help, as she wants to buy on Thursday!

She is correct the incentive changed, I think it was on May 1st. The price per point is going up on June 2nd to $80 so if your friend is serious, she should purchase before then.

The $5 incentive ended in April. The current discount is indeed Magical Beginnings- but only at $5 per point (and dues must still be paid on those points).

The price also increases to $80 at the beginning of June. BCV is selling so well that the incentives are not needed to encourage sales.
