Ok, why are there no rooms at the BC 10/19-10/23 ? Only a suite is available. YC only has CL and nothing is available at the Swan or Dolphin... I know the F&W is popular, but no rooms available ? I thought this was one of the slower weeks at WDW. Does anyone know what is going on ? Thanks !

Did you try calling CRO? Sometimes the web site doesn't work properly and you'll get that message.

- Fall Break for some school systems
- Free dining is offered for much of October, though I'm not sure of that week
- F&W Festival, which wouldn't affect some resorts much that aren't close to EPCOT, but would certainly affect resorts where you can have your fill of wine and food, then easily walk back to the resort.
- Make sure you're not trying to book with a certain special offer (free dining, room rate discount, etc.) before determining the resorts are completely full. They only hold so many rooms for package deals and discounts, while the resort at large may have several rooms available even though discounted rooms may be sold out.
- Make sure you look at S&D's website for booking there. They have their own discounts that WDW can't offer, and might only provide so many rooms for WDW to offer on their site.

I did try calling and they were still booked. It's not free dining that week, my monster pin wasn't even valid that week. Is WDW this busy this week ? I'm rethinking my trip, if so.. Thanks !

I know!

Luckily we have booked a standard room at BC but we are wanting to upgrade to CL or at least a waterview at BC or even YC, but there isn't anything available, it looks like it's completely booked out.

It may be a slow time of year at the other three parks, but not at Epcot. All of the Epcot resorts are booked up during Food & Wine, and it's really hard to book at only 3 months out. That's why I reserved my room for F&W back in March.

We love SAB and that is why we want to stay at the BC. Will it be packed also ? Thanks !

It was in the past, which is exactly why the F&W festival was scheduled for this time of year. Since the festival seems to get a little bigger each year, you can expect that this will continue into the future (especially, as others have pointed out, at the Epcot resorts, with their very easy access to the F&W festival).

I was wondering the same thing. I looked it up and there is an IT symposium happening at ALL the EPCOT hotels OCT 21-25!! Crazy!!! How am I going to get to the EPCOT Food & Wine!!! :rotfl2:

Yes, it is free dining that week. Free dining for Oct. is the 1st-4th and 19th-31st.

Oh no, I don't want to hear this! We are booked at the YC for Oct 19-21 at rack rates and only going to keep the resie if we cant get a discount. I am thinking that if they are completely booked no discount is coming :sad2: I will keep my fingers crossed that somehow between FL res, AP, and Dis Visa, we can get some sort of discount.

Update: I just went back onto the Disney website and for my long weekend there are still rooms below suites and concierge available at both the BC & YC. It must be that after the 21st the rooms are booked for the conference mentioned before. Maybe consider doing a split stay so you can still get your SAB fix.
