Hello,

I would love to hear from those of you who have stayed at both the Dolphin and the Beach Club at their concierge level for a comparison. I have an AP rate at the dolphin concierge level for $208 per night incl. tax. The AP concierge rate at the BC is $248 per night incl tax.

Question: is the BC concierge level worth the difference? Please help me decide.

Thanks,
Kathy

Well, I haven't stayed at either, but with BC, being Disney, and the Dolphin, not being Disney my choice would most definitely be BC concierge!

We stayed at BC concierge last summer and were thinking about staying at the Swan/Dolphin Club level this sumser. After researching, I beleive that BC has more to offer in the afternoons and evenings. Also, for $248/night, I would go with the BC. May I ask when you are going because that is an awesome rate. The AP rate I was quoted for mid August was $322/night (tax included). I would jump on that rate for BC Concierge!

OOOOOOOOOOOps my mistake yikes!. The AP rate for the concierge room on June 19th was $365per night incl. tax. NOT $248. THAT was the standard view AP rate at the BC. Sorry for the confusion:(

As you can see the difference is $157per night and in our case we need 2 rooms so I would really LOVE to hear from those of you who have STAYED at BOTH places concierge level.

Thanks Again

I have stayed club level at both the Dolphin and the Swan. To tell the truth I am glad I didn't pay for it. I am a starwood member and got a complimentary upgrade both times. While the breakfast food was ok it and the service was good the eveing fare was gone in a very short time. The hours are also much shorter than in other resorts 7-10 and 4-7 IIRC. IMHO it wasn't even worth visiting the lounge for the appetizers in the eveing - anytime we arrived after 4:30 everything was completely gone and not to be replenished. We got a few bottles of water, soda etc but not worth any extra $$. The Dolphin club was a bit better than the Swan FWIW. Anyway just my opinion hopefully others had better experiences.

I will say that I do love the Dolphin and like the Swan and would stay again (esp at Dolphin) but would not pay extra for their club level service.

OTOH we stayed Poly and AK concierge on two different trips and it was truly wonderful and well worth extra $ (although we got an AP discount)! Staff was able to get PS's we were not and the food was really great. One night my girls had fallen asleep and never ate dinner. The staff got them the crustless PB&J's, fruit and milk even though it wasn't offered at the time. DH and I were able to relax and enjoy a night-cap and dessert while the girls ate and watched the Lion King.

Having stayed at other hotels concierge or club level many times, I must tell you that so far Disney service is far superior to any other. Standard disclaimers of course :-)

I am staying BC concierge in April so I will have a true comparison later this month. Have fun whatever you decide.
