Hi everyone!
I can't decide which resort we want to stay in. I've narrowed it down to these two and I honestly can't decide which one is better.

Can someone help with the size of the rooms, pros and cons of both places?

Thanks so much!

You'll probably hear a lot about the BC lounge being small but we stayed there last year and had an absolutely amazing vacation. The CMs were wonderful, the offerings were delicious, and the lounge was never crowded or uncomfortable. We loved Stormalong Bay and went every day. But, what I loved most was literally being in Epcot 5 minutes after leaving the hotel. It was great. With that being said I'm really looking forward to trying out the Poly next. Not because we weren't satisfied with BC but because I want to have the close proximity to MK next. I don't think you can go wrong with either!

Thank you! Do you know how far the deluxe cl rooms are from the lounge and the pool? Are they in close proximity like at the Poly?

We've stayed at both, enjoyed both, but they really are quite different.

Poly -- Much larger rooms, amazing view (if you pay for MK view), great location next to pools, large lounge with nice views, boat and monorail to MK, walk to TTC to take the monorail to Epcot. Nice beach area, good restaurants... Dark color decor, multiple buildings (so you get wet if it rains).

BC -- Rooms are smaller but still very nice, lounge is on the 5th floor so not so convenient from the pool area, smaller lounge, walk to Epcot and DHS (or take the boat). Back-door entrance to Epcot. Best pool on property (SAB is much larger and more elaborate than the volcano pool), access to lots of great restaurants... Light and bright decor, and all in one building.

It's hard for me to really say one is better than the other -- they both have unique things they offer, and the BC CL is considerably less $$$ than the Poly is (at least that's the case every time I booked). The theming and look of the resorts are very different from one another -- that may help you make your decision.

As for CL, I thought the Poly had better dinner apps, while the BC had a slightly better breakfast and snack time treats. We liked the CMs at both lounges.

Good luck with your decision! :goodvibes

The deluxe rooms are located near the quiet pool... They are not on the same floor as the lounge and are scattered around the resort. Depending on what room you get, if you have a Deluxe CL, it could be quite a walk to get to the lounge. The hallways at the BC are quite long.

Thank you! One more question and I'll stop being a pain. :). Can you rent a cabana at stormalong bay?

No, there are no cabana's at SAB.
There was ( last year) waitress service at SAB from Hurricane Hannah's . I am not sure that is still true.

I've been to both and would stay at either one again. Overall, I prefer the Poly lounge for the better location, the much larger size and views of the castle :lovestruc The food and CMs were good at both.

I have never stayed CL, so I can't comment on that, but we've stayed at both resorts in the last year. I'd say the Beach Club, hands-down. The Poly does have amazing views. The castle is visible all over the resort and watching Wishes from the resort is lovely. The location is good, especially if you spend most of your time at MK. That said, we'll only be staying at the BC in the future. We loved the light, bright rooms, the fact that the whole resort is in a single building, and Stormalong Bay is amazing. The Poly pool is laughably tiny, in my opinion, so if that's important to you, its something to consider. Also, the rooms at the Poly, IMO, seemed pretty beat up. They were using a piece of plywood to "fix" one of the beds in the room! :confused3 I think Poly coasts on its location, frankly.

We have stayed at the Poly CL and had a great time. While we have never stayed BC CL we have stayed BC and didnt like it so I would pick Poly, CL or not, over BC anytime.
