It seems like WDW has some amazing BBQ - in your opinion which is the best? Flametree in AK? Polite Pig in DS? Regal Eagle in Epcot? Something not even on my radar?

My trips in the distant past I always went to Hoop Dee Doo for my BBQ fix (all you can eat AND a show?!?), but that's not an option for June. Looking for the best of the current options.

Thanks!

I didn’t make it to DS this trip, but I did go to both flame tree and regal eagle, big bbq fan! Hands down I thought flame tree was way better, personally. I know a lot feel differently, but for my first time at regal, I wasn’t impressed.

Im looking forward to my next trip when the toy story bbq restaurant will be open. Hopefully it blows all others away! Lol.

Flame Tree is very good, for theme park BBQ.
Polite Pig was very good all around BBQ, but I threw it up all night long so not eager to try it again :tilt:
Havent tried Regal Eagle yet, but will in 30 days!

I’m a sides girl and rank them:
Polite Pig
Regal Eagle
FlameTree

But, Flame Tree has really decent BBQ and (by far, IMHO) the nicest seating area. It’s one of my favorites in Disney World.
Oh yes, seating at flame tree is amazing. It's even better with the character flotillas passing by! Regal does have a nice outdoor seating area as well, but it doesn't beat the scenery of flame tree

Well, as a native Texan I don't think any of it is fantastic but all 3 spots are usually solid.

Regal Eagle is a current fave of ours due to the ample seating & mobile ordering. The chicken is the best thing on the menu IMO (the rub is very good). Baked beans are good, other sides are meh.

Flame Tree is usually good - I like the ribs there. Occasionally we get mediocre food. We only dine there when it's cooler outside ;)

Polite Pig is a favorite of mine but I rarely order the BBQ - I love their sides! I just order 3 of them as my meal and it's so hard to narrow them down (the beets ALWAYS make the cut!). DH thinks the meat is fine; nothing outstanding but nothing gross.

I like Beef Brisket so Flame Tree is out. The brisket at Regal Eagle was good and I liked the spicy sauce. I have not tried Polite Pig yet.

Flame Tree seating would be nice if it weren't for the horrible, hyper-aggressive birds. We take our bbq over to pizzafari to eat indoors and avoid being accosted by evil birds.

So far, only one any of us have tried is Regal Eagle. Hubby said it's a 'one and done' for him. didn't care for it. Polite Pig looks very tempting, so maybe one day. It seems to get very good reviews. We are Satuli addicts, so no Flame tree yet.
We live in Tennessee, and have 3 great BBQ places w/in 10 miles, so we don't seek it out in Disney. On our drives down though, we've often stopped at Sonny's and it's good enough.

My best friend used to live in Austin and I can definitely see any of those Texas 24 hour pit joints being far superior to Disney offerings! Not as fortunate in Northern California.

Regal Eagle was good, but I think P & Js Southern Takeout takes the crown.

We have tried Flame Tree, Polite Pig and Regal Eagle several times each. We like all of them and my family of 4 is split evenly between Flame Tree and Regal Eagle as our Favorite, but we all agree that Polite Pig has THE best side dishes of any of them. One other place to add is that we also enjoy some of the BBQ skillets at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge.

Any dry rub stuff at polite pig? I really don't like most sauces. Thanks for the help.

We love Polite Pig! Flame Tree is also delicious, but Polite Pig is the best. Haven't tried Regal Eagle yet, but looks amazing!
