What I like about programmes such as this, Rob, is that talented people who might not otherwise have been lucky enough to have become professionals in the first place get an opportunity. I don't imagine that all 'professionals' find their way into the industry through sheer hard work alone - many of them must have had a lucky break, so I can't begrudge anyone their own route. Having said that, once they find that break, they should honour it. I know nothing about the Sound of Music show, nor the girl who won, but if what you're saying is true, she needs a good kick up the backside.
