Just a question for those of us Americans that enjoy British programming:

Have you been watching the new season of "Red Cap"??? If so, are you enjoying it as much as I am?

And how about that Robson Green... what an actor, eh?

Bill

We like Red Cap Bill :) My friends in Vermont are hooked on Spooks, have you seen that?

I like Red Cap too, Bill. But I adored Wire in the Blood and Robson Green. I caught the first episode of Trust last week, but forgot to set the TIVO for this week.

Robson Green reminds me a bit of my husband, and I just love his accent.

I wish BBC America would bring more programs over. I get so tired of repeats of the DIY shows.

Kaylee,

I have never seen Spooks... I don't think it is shown on BBC America (but I could be wrong on this). Being that your friends live in Vermont, they may be getting it on the Canadian CBC or the BBC, which I believe is available in Canada.

Whats the show about?

Steph,

I knew that you would enjoy Red Cap. I am pleased that Hornsby and Ogden have made a go of it... but I am not so happy about Jo and Hippy.

Bad news, Bill. This is from The Sun.

BBC axe Red Cap
THE Beeb’s £10million drama Red Cap — starring Tamzin Outhwaite — has been axed.

The blonde actress has been told the show is being dropped because it is too expensive.

The Army series pulled in just 5.5million viewers in January.

Ex-EastEnders star Tamzin, 33, is said to be upset with the decision and has already done a deal with ITV.

A Beeb insider said: “It is a high-profile victim of a big drama clear out by the BBC to free up more money for new innovative dramas and comedies.

“The Beeb still wants to work with Tamzin but she has made it clear she will now take her chance to appear on ITV.”

Tamzin will star as a woman on the run in the rival channel’s thriller Francis Tuesday.

But TV Biz can reveal that she has also already signed up to another BBC drama, When I’m 64.

She will play Caz, whose dad Ray (Paul Freeman) turns 64 and starts living as he never dared in his youth.

Tamzin said: “Like me, Caz is the daughter of a cabbie, so it was very easy to get into my character’s background.”

Bill

Thinking about it now I think they renamed it and for the life of me I can't remember it.

Possibly MI5?? Here is a link to Spooks

Hi

Red Cap had really bad reviews here in the UK, the media didn't like Tamzin Outhwaite in it (proably they want her to stick to EastEnders!)

Sorry!

I've never seen it, so I can't comment
