By the looks of accuweather and weather.com, it sures seems as if those southbound jets from the Northeast are bringing along some rather unusually cool weather--and wet too! Looks like we can leave the swimwear at home and pack jackets, ponchos, and umbrellas instead!! Oh well, we'll have fun just the same!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Ugggh....

It's 13 degrees here in Jersey. I've done Disney in mid/late december twice and each time it was actually cold. By cold I mean 58-65. I'm going this year in Late Jan early Feb so hopefully it'll warm up.

Bundle up and have a good time. We were there a few years ago just before Christmas and it did get down to 25 one night and did not get out of the 40's during the day. Have a wonderful time!

Have a safe and magical trip!!! Are you driving or flying? If you are flying how much did you pay for airfare if you don't mind me asking? We have a trip planned for May 2005. :moped:

We are flying.....I work for an airline, so I can't say what the airfare would have been.....we are driving in March...

Tramps Lady, we are leaving tomorrow evening from Dallas :) Doesn't look like it will too cold every day - at least some of the days it will warm to 70 :) Oh well, we will just bundle up and force ourselves to have a good time, LOL.

Blessings, just fyi, we are flying, we paid $176 round trip, including all taxes ;)

It was 17 degrees this morning in Atlanta! Whew! My MIL is in FL and it was 32 there this morning. Maybe Orlando will be warmer!

Dagny--have a super great trip; I know we will no matter the weather. After all, we were just there in October and plan a March visit as well. The Christmas decorations are always so beautiful--rain, wind, cold, or whatever Mother Nature throws our way.

I wish you and yours a wonderfully magical holiday!

Hi Neighbors!!! Just wanted to wish you all a great holiday trip to WDW! Dagny - thanks for the airfare quote...I'll be looking into that in a few months for June. HAVE FUN!!! If you're gonna be cold...better to be cold at DISNEY! :cheer2:

I'll go in your place if you like. It was -32C or -25F here in Ontario last night and is still only -25C or -13F at 3:00pm so 48F looks good. Hope it is warmer for you and us in last week Jan and all of Feb. Have fun.

I'm just back and I'm not going to lie - it was cold! However, if you prepare for it, it's really not as bad as I thought it would be. As long as the sun is shining, it doesn't feel all that chilly. Packed in the crowd today waiting for the parade at MK, I had to take my coat off!

Holidays at Disney our super! You'll barely notice the cold! :D

It is 2.1 degrees in Connecticut right now. 40 seems like a dream!

Enjoy your trip. Hope you experience the 70s!

Trampslady,

We are leaving on Thurday from Michigan, but since it was 0 degrees here over the weekend, 50's or 60's doesn't sound too bad.
