BBB Tipping Question??

We are taking our two granddaughters to BBB for the first time. I assume it is like a normal beauty shop and you tip the person you work with? What is appropriate?

We have taken our granddaughter twice. Once at Downtown Disney and once at the castle. It is basically like a beauty salon. It was a while ago but I believe we tipped $20. I don't know if that is comparable to a salon because I never been to one.
If I remember right at DD we just put the tip in an envelope and put in a common box. I don't remember what we tipped at the castle BBB. I would believe whatever you tip the CM will appreciate. The experience of seeing your granddaughter will be priceless.

We were just there this past November, DTD location. I tried to tip my daughter's fairy godmother, but she would not accept the tip. I tried a second time, and she said, no thank you, we are not allowed...

I had asked the same question before my trip, and I was told that yes, they do take tips.. I think it may be something that changes often, or maybe a rule that is only enforced occasionally..

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try....

Thank you. As the Grandpa, I too have never been to a hair salon. We'll try. If they say no, no it is.

I had the same experience. Both times DD has been to BBB, I tried to tip 25% but the fairy godmother said she could not accept it. I kind of had the feeling it was Disney policy not to accept tips?

They do such a good job, they deserve a tip.
