At WDW now and I have the basic $59.95 BBB package booked for tomorrow. We are wanting to upgrade our package but don't really need the photos that come with the $194.95 package. Would they let us just add the dress to our current package. Would that be the same as what's included with the $194.95 package minus the photos? Would they still allow her to go pick whatever dress she wants and do the big reveal? How much do the dresses at BBB run? Thanks!

I've been thinking about doing the same thing (in fact you can still go do the pictures even if you don't get the $194.95 package they just go on your photo pass/memory maker, they don't print them out and put them in a cardstock frame)...My understanding from reading through different posts here, is that you can:

- get the $59.95 package
- purchase the dress separately (they run somewhere around $65-70)
- they still let them put on the dress in the dressing room there the same way you would if you got the $194.95 package...in fact I think they let you do the same thing even if you brought your own dress in)
- the only other thing they get with the $194.95 package is a wand and tiara that goes with the dress they pick out...you can still purchase them if you want to (or purchase one or the other...or a pair of shoes that match the princess you choose)

From my math, if I get the $59.95 package, add the dress (which you can buy at BBB or at adjoining castle couture), and a pair of shoes, I'm still coming out about $50 ahead compared to the package price! :cool1:

Just to verify, you can bring your own dress and use their change room and the still do the big dress reveal. And you can head over to the picture spot in castle couture and they will just scan your magic band if you have memory maker! DD did that last year! This year she went dressed as belle with her hair all done into the park and I took her to get photos done still!

Thanks for the responses! We ended up just adding the dress (Anna's coronation dress) to our package and the total was $138 I believe. So significantly less than the full $194.95 package and I believe we got everything except the photos printed off. We were still able to have photos taken at castle couture and since we have memory maker, will be able to print those on our own. Worked out very well for us!
