BBB packages?

why does it take 2 hours for the larger BBB package isn't it just the difference in getting the dress there? If I brought my own it wouldn't take 2 hrs?

I'm just trying to figure out which package to get I don't think I want to spend 2 hours there. How long does it usually take for the basic package if I bring my own dress?

I thought it might be fun for my dd to pick out everything there but it's sooo expensive plus I was told one hour for the basic 2 for the larger one. I just don't see why the larger one would take that long?Thanks for any input!

The only thing I can think of is the time for picking out the dress and having that and all of the accessories available and then having her get dressed.

We've always brought our own dress with DD arriving in it. We've been there anywhere from 40 minutes for the fastest to 1 1/2 hours at one point due to an afternoon appointment and them being backed up.

I am hitting the Halloween store November 1st, watching Black Friday sales online and possibly ordering from Little Adventures because I cannot justify the prices on-site for a Disney dress. If you're looking to trim time and cost, I think you're making a wise choice sticking with the basic package. We don't do BBB ourselves because it conflicts with some of our rules, but I hope you and your girl enjoy it!

No different than any BBB package does. All include photo shoot. The big one may give you some printed ones, not sure. But all of them get the same photos taken

Where did you see that it's 2 hours for the full package? The make over itself is the same for all 3, probably takes about 45-60 min, depending on wait time. Adding in the dress portion doesn't increase the time by double. So whatever you read is over estimating

I waited 40min after my appointment time for the least expensive package on Labor day. Take that time into consideration too!

Eh, that's just their built in cushion. It won't take that long, baring some extreme wait time. Cost is harder. We've only done the full package once, but out in DL where you actually get something for doing the full package. At WDW you don't so we always do just the hair/makeup and bring our own dresses.

I would also suggest getting a dress before going to Disney as the prices are nuts at the BBB. I just bought the below dress for my daughter to wear to BBB during our trip in December. With Halloween fast approaching, prices for dresses are going to plummet. This dress often sells for $55+, and I got it for $25. I believe "Disney Prestige" dresses are considered top of the line, not sure about that. So depending on what princess you want, if you search "Disney Prestige" on amazon you can see the prices.

Our daughter was always ecstatic with the base package. That took about 45 minutes. We usually had an appointment around 10 AM with a noon CRT adr. My wife was paranoid about not having the right dress in the right size so we had already bought the dress, from Disney so no savings.

One thing to consider is some time for the young princess to have time to display reignment. One of the advantages for doing BBB at the MK is that there are so many great photo ops in the area.
