OK, I understand what you're saying and yes, a 30 year old at BBB would be awkward. But 12 still seems like a fairly young cutoff. Something like 16 seems more reasonable to me, as I can still see 13 and 14 year olds legitimately wanting the BBB experience.
Yeah, it seems arbitrary, but it may have something to do with the cutoff age for costumes in the park. I cannot remember if that age is 10 or 12.
We thought they did a great job and the girls kept their hair fro a few days. It was not as tight as it looked, they just use a LOT of gel to get the slick back look. Plus, if you have the memory maker you get a free photo shoot at guest services in Disney Springs.
