BBB - how strict on age?

Beautiful pictures Nancyg56. I will definitely check into this before our next trip.

The girls really liked this, as did their mom. For your sister you could choose any number of hair and makeup options that work for her. There is a flower girl package but I wanted the Princess package.

I was impressed by the CM's. I had asked for Nola's hair to be trimmed and while the stylist was willing he did suggest against it. Her hair was short and he wanted to be sure I understood the curls would not be there if he cut her hair. He put my girl before his sale. Also, there wS no need for the hairpiece. You see the godmothers in training cannot "do" hair because they are not licensed. These stylists were able to use a curling iron. We seldom allow that but for a special dining experience their mom agreed.

I'm not sure what you mean.

For awhile a lot of adult women were going to BBB for princess makeovers. I have no idea if they were going the whole princess route, but Disney will not allow that for a multitude of reasons.

I don't care if adults want to go to BBB but if Disney thinks it is not appropriate for that venue I understand that. I cannot imagine a 30 year old woman getting the same experience that is tailored to little girls and maybe that was not disneys intention either

So cute.

But it also shows how gentle they are.

Again, much better than BBB. But I am sure it is a bit more expensive, maybe?
I am not sure but i think I paid $60 each and that included the tip. Whatever it was I added extra for the stylists, they were wonderful.

I always cringe when I see little girls in the BBB hair. OUCH, so tight. It looks like it absolutely KILLS.

That's one reason we chose not to take the girls there. I honestly do not like those styles, but I also thought they hurt

OK, I understand what you're saying and yes, a 30 year old at BBB would be awkward. But 12 still seems like a fairly young cutoff. Something like 16 seems more reasonable to me, as I can still see 13 and 14 year olds legitimately wanting the BBB experience.
