Taking my niece on her first and probably only trip as a child. We are in the parks for four full days and then we have travel days on each side of that. So far plan is Day 1: EP, Day 2: MK, Day3: DHS (mainly for Jedi Training)/AK; Day 4: MK. We have free dining so we have some character meals planned and am not sure what we are going to eat on DHS/AK day because I'm worried about time but I'll figure that out.

On day 2: I have BBB scheduled and we will be going to the Halloween Party that night.

On day 4: I have Pirate's League Scheduled

Am I being dumb by booking both experiences for her? We are going in Sept. so I expect it to be hot and her hair from BBB not to last long either because of the heat or because I have heard the hairstyles are not comfortable for kids. At BBB I plan on doing hair/make-up and let her pick out a dress…for Pirate's I'm planning on doing the empress package without a dress.

Has anyone done both in the same trip? Besides the cost and that it will take time to do both, is there any reason not to do both in the same trip?

If she's a "girly girl" just stick to BBB.
i personally see no problem doing both, either way she will be thankful for what you made reservations for :-)

Doing both seems a little much to me given the limited time you have but if you think she'll enjoy it, go for it. But to your comment that the BBB hairstyles aren't comfortable for kids, my 2 DDs have done it twice. Both times there was zero complaining about discomfort from either of them. We left the style in for 2 days last year and I forced the shampoo after 3 days this year (although we didn't go in the summer so it was not super hot). One did the bun both times, one did the bun one year and the colored extensions the other (which looked totally awesome with the Jedi robe for JTA, FYI). The bun looks a lot tighter than it really is. It's mostly a ridiculous amount of product keeping it flat. Ridiculous as in it literally feels like a hard shell. :crazy2: Not so appealing really but it lasts and lasts and my kiddos didn't find it uncomfortable even to sleep in.

I'm taking my daughter in January and we will be doing both. They're both two completely different experiences and they're only young for a little while.
