We have reservations at the boutique in Downtown Disney at 4 to get my dd's makeover. I'd love to get her a princess costume to wear for it, but we also have tickets for the Christmas Party that night. Do kids wear costumes to the Christmas party too? I"m thinking if I have her wear a turtleneck and pants under the costume she'll be warm, but didn't know if kids wore costumes for the party that night or not. I've never done this before! But I know she'd be thrilled to get to wear a princess costume all day.

From what I've seen throught the years, kids wear costumes all day and everyday regardless of what's going on. Besides, it's important that she's happy. Who cares what the others think. You're on vacation. Make your own magic.

Yes we were there in Feb 06 and nothing was really "going on" but lots of Disney kids were thing.

I've seen kids in costume at the x-mas party........one little girl had Belle's christmas ensamble.....i was extremely jealous

My girls will be wearing their Princess dresses to MVMCP. We are going to BBB earlier in the day as well. Great minds think alike!

Definitely dress up. We went two years ago, and did two parties in one week. The first one, DD was burning up in her Sleeping Beauty dress -- we had the sleeves hiked up as high as they would go -- because the temperature was in the 70s at night. The second one she didn't dress up because we had to bundle up for temperatures in the 30s at night! Be prepared for any weather!
