BB/TL vs. SplishSplashLI

Can anyone compare and contrast Splish Splash on LI with TL and/or Blizzard Beach? Have only ever been to Splish Splash. Are the others bigger (cover more acres?)

We were at SplishSplash today and the crowds were horrendous. Left after 3 hours.

We were at Splish Splash last week and went to BB and TL back in June. Compared to the wave pools at BB and TL Surf City is a bathtub! The lazy rivers at BB and TL are definitely alot longer and better. BB has the longest family raft ride, Teamboat Springs. Crush n' Gusher at TL was a blast. The crowds were terrible when we went to Splish Splash as well. We had very minimal waits for everything in BB and TL. We went later in the afternoon like 2-6 and the crowds were not bad at all. The only complaint I have is I thought the waves in the TL surf pool were a bit rough. My older kids loved it, but I was worried about my little one. Out of the 3 we all liked BB best, followed closely by TL and then Splish Splash.

my two cents ...

BB and TL are BEAUTIFUL ... every detail is themed, every nook and cranny has something amazing to see, you could spend the whole day just walking around BB/TL and have spent good money

splish splash is just a water park

At TL the shark reef is amazing ... nothing like that any where else

At TL/BB you could (at least last summer) get on the lazy river and never get off and they dont care how you sit in your tube or even if you sit in a tube. My DD (7) "swam" the lazy river for awhile and then hopped up in my lap. At SS you HAVE to sit with your rear in the hole of the tube ... no variation and you HAVE to get off one time round ... while the more than one time round at TL/BB stinks if you're the one waiting for a tube it's really nice if you're the floatee.
