BB locker question

We noticed that there were lockers further into the park as well as the ones that are located next to the rental counters. How would you go about getting a locker that is not near the rental counters? It was kind of a bother to have to go all the way back to the front of the park every time we needed something out of the locker.

I was at Blizzard Beach today I went to Snowless Joe's ang asked for a locker near Tike's Peak so I was given a key to the ones right next to Snowless Joes ( locker, towel rental and life jackets)
