Are the lines to meet Baymax long? I know at WDW are an hour long. He's by Star Tours, right?

I was actually coming here to ask if anyone has met him at DL yet. He is to the right of the Space Mountain entrance. We went over there yesterday afternoon to check it out but the line was LONG. I'm guessing over 60 minutes for sure.

We are going there tomorrow and may head there first. Baymax is awesome looking, and we'd love to meet him!

Friday afternoon (2:30) the line was only about 25 min. I think that tomorrow would be similar.
He is at the exit of Space Mountain, at the back of Starcade.

Good to know, thank you! We saw the movie yesterday and DS6 and DS5 are in LOVE with Baymax! Hoping to see him when we are there in December :goodvibes

We were there Sunday about 1pm and the wait was 70-80 minutes. They change out every 30 minutes so its a hit or miss with "Hero". We got a different one right before our turn... and it was a miss and we waited so long!

I'm just curious as to what you mean, when you say "it was a miss"

I'm assuming they mean hit or miss in terms of how well they are as a character- how talkative they are, their energy level, etc. For example, if you had a really nice and talkative Hero, it'd be a "hit". If you had a Hero that didn't connect with his character or didn't communicate well, it'd be a "miss".

What I meant as "hit" or "miss" looking like the actual character in the movie. Right before our turn "Hero" looked just like the boy in the movie! Then Baymax and Hero went in the back and a few minutes later another Hero came back out, 6 inches taller and totally different facial features, he looked nothing like him. I understand you cannot clone every Hero , its just what you get when your turn comes up.

I LOVE Baymax, he's so huggable! I went this past Saturday and the wait for him was over an hour long. I think this was because 1) it was a Saturday and 2) it was a marathon weekend. When my DH went last Thursday, he only waited about 30 minutes.

Good Luck!

OK I have to ask... is Baymax at the M&G an actual character or is it just a blown up balloon?

Cause I want to meet one that can actually hug back :)

I just want to know if Baymax gives knuckles & makes it explode!

The Hiros that I've seen in photos look pretty like the character!

I don't think he can do the fist bump...seems like very limited movement in there! I'll try anyway. :rotfl: I loved the movie SO MUCH!

"Balalalalala...."

We met them today! It's a Monday, park open at 10. Baymax and Hiro were due to meet and greet starting at 10:30. We got in line at 10:20, and the CM there told us to expect a 30 minute wait. It ended up being a little less than 25. Our Hiro was great! Looked just like him, very talkative with the kids, great pose for the photos. Baymax can't talk, but he can move and hug. He can't really bend his knuckles, but he will attempt a fist bump if you ask. (Hiro does a fabulous one, FTR! I think I have a little crush on him.)

ANd yes, they are having issues with Baymax staying inflated. The CM kept saying, "Baymax is a robot, and sometimes they have technical difficulties, so we can't guarantee that he'll be here." But he was out at least the whole time we were there.

(Felt a little sorry for parents arriving in Fantasyland around 12:30 and thinking they were going to get in line to meet Anna and Elsa with their daughters. Especially when the little girls were completely decked out. Must be a major disappointment.)

FInally, random, but Fireworks were cancelled tonight. We couldn't feel any wind but they claimed "winds at high altitude."

Awesome!! Thank you =)

Thank you Fantasyisland and Luckymommatoo!

I just want to make sure he is not just an inflatable balloon background or something.
:)

I think I will be waiting in line for him if it's not longer than 30min. Hopefully I'll remember to ask for a fist bump

My girls met him on Monday- maybe waited 30 minutes. There's a schedule that tells when he's out so that makes it easy. He gives hugs and fist bumps. The girls really liked him.
