we just got on line. It's 9:55, the meet starts at 10:30, there are about 15 families ahead of us and the back area is not open yet.

Yeesh! Could be worse, though. Hope the line goes quickly.

I'm hoping the slower week for us (early May) will mean shorter lines. My son would love to meet Baymax and Hiro.

It's 10:04 now, the line has doubled and they have let us into the back area.
My advice is just get here before 10. I think a lot of people plan on getting in line 30 minutes ahead ... So you just have to beat them by five minutes...

Is there only 1 per day? Would be great if there were a FP+. We skip almost ALL character meets unless I have FP Or The visa thing. My 3 boys just don't care about princesses, but they would like to see Baymax!

YIKES - we were hoping for a photo on our upcoming trip, but that's a tough wait. Thanks for posting your experience.

We were in the middle of the back area when they actually got started at 10:30. So if that back area is completely full I would expect that to be a 40 minute wait - not counting any breaks Baymax may take. But you can use that to estimate what you're looking at and if it's too long, maybe just do a drawing class.... Our friends waited one cycle for the animation academy and they were done right after us, worked out perfectly.

Yikes. I will stop telling my son Baymax is around. Maybe things will die done by the end of the month.

Is it still Spring Break crazy?

It is still one of the busiest weeks of the year. But read my previous post for judging how long the wait might be...

Baymax for my girls (20 & 15) is like Anna & Elsa for most 5 yr olds - We will wait....although yes that Hiro looks like Hiro's grandpa!!!

Great picture!!

We waited an hour earlier this week. We arrived around 11am. He took a 15min break right when we got in line, then he went on break right after we met him. The CM let my family play on the "painting" things while I waited in line. They also met the incredibles while I waited. They met me when it was our turn.

But from that point in line, he will definitely be taking a break so tack on at least another 15 minutes.

Thanks for the info & live update! My DD said meeting Baymax was the one thing she absolutely has to do on our upcoming May trip. Agree with the others that the Hiro pictured isn't what I expected.

Thank you! We are headed down next week and this is a must do for my son. This post is extremely helpful for planning. So excited!!

Hi, wondering if we should try this on a Star Wars Weekend day or reg day would be better? Thanks! Hoping they are there still in mid June!! No word on when ending I guess.... Fastpass would be AWESOME, lol....
