Well after many happy trips to the Polynesian it looks like we will be making our next WDW stay at BLT in a one bedroom. With 16 and 14 year old boys we need the extra space and two rooms at the Poly are just too expensive. We stayed at the Contemporary when the kids were younger, and so was I !!! And we enjoyed our stays. I will be booking a standard view room and was wondering what level the elevated walkway exits from?? Since I have limited mobility in one of my legs it is always helpful.

Please give me any pointers available.

We stayed at BLT about a year ago. From what I remember the elevated walkway connects the 5th floor of BLT to the 4th floor concourse of the Contemporary.

The first post has good information about the layout of BLT, and what rooms are designated to specific booking categories. This should give you a good idea of where the "standard" view rooms are located.

You will LOVE BLT!!! We stayed there in 2010 in a 1BR. I cant say enough good things about this resort The washer and dryer were one of my favorites I could have packed one outfit for all of us for our stay. We would throw our clothes in the washer/dryer at night after showering and voila...clean clothes when you get up!!! The 2 baths and full kitchen as well as all the space were great. We also booked a standard view, but had an awsome view of Bay Lake. We were dead center of the back of the resort and the highest floor. Views were awsome. I have a link in my signature of our BLT Family of the Day trip. We were choosen at check in (at the Contemporary Resort). We had access to the Club Level all week at CR. It was a trip of a lifetime for sure
