Is the Bay Lake Tower Viewing Area for everyone accessible?

I have seen a great Video of Wishes taken from up there and I would like to know if everyone is allowed to go up there to watch the fireworks?

And as the video had a good sound I assume they pipe in the music?

When we have been at WDW last October we have been at the beach of the Polynesian Resort and we have seen Wishes from there but unfortunately there was no music this evening.

We have also seen a very tiny outside area at the Contemporary (on the Magic Kingdom side of the hotel). Can you also see Wishes from there or is this not a good spot? And can you hear the music from this area as well?

No, to go up there you have to be a member staying at BLT on points. I wanted to go when we were staying there, but even we weren't allowed.

Luckily our room was MK view and only 2 floors below, so I don't think we missed anything view wise, but I'd have loved to have a drink up there.

There's a viewing platform I saw a lot of people on on the 4th floor of the CR if you go out the door by the little supermarket (Fantasia Market?) I'm not sure if they pipe the music or not, but we had it on our BLT TV, but didn't use it after the first night as it was out of sync and we could hear the music from the park.

Or have a meal up at CG and watch from there, will be a similar view.

I think we are talking about the same viewing platform at the CR. We discovered this area during our last trip and I was wondering if you could see Wishes from there and if you could hear it as well.

CG is not an option for us because you would have to use two meals from your DP and then it is very hard to get a reservation during Wishes.

Yes, you can see Wishes, and you can hear the music too.

I think you could also maybe go up the emergency stairs there and see it from higher?

Don't my word though as we didn't try at all, I just remember thinking it might be possible as we walked by to the BLT bridge one day.

The sound is piped in, but the fireworks are to the right of the castle.
I found the best view outside of MK is from the ferry dock at T&TC.

Thank you for the feedback. Is the T&TC Area very crowded during Wishes? Or is this more of a secret, hidden spot?

We once watched them from where Nigel's pic was taken, just another 2 or 3 families about, definitely no crowds.
