Checking into a 2 bed standard view on Oct 27. Not been moved.
Disney kept the one at HHI ; so I’d hope they’d keep it at BLT as well.I'm curious if the renovated 1-bedrooms will still sleep 5. With two older kids, I'm tempted to book our summer 2025 trip at BLT, so they can sleep apart, while we save on points and still have two bathrooms. But I don't know if that sleeper chair will survive.
Any guesses?
Removing the sleeper chair and not replacing it with some other single sleeping surface would reduce the capacity of those villas from 5 to 4, and I don’t think they’ll do that.I'm curious if the renovated 1-bedrooms will still sleep 5. I’m inclined to say no as given the latest example at vero I was expecting the removal of the single sofa chat and moving to the under tv fold out but they replaced them with new sofa chairs!I'm curious if the renovated 1-bedrooms will still sleep 5. Thanks for sharing! Gives me some hope for my 2 bed TPV villa will actually be refurbed for my January trip.
Is it lake view or theme park view? Doesn't seem like they are doing the entire top floor at once according to the photos. You all seem wonderfully knowledgeable and I would love some help!
I have a reservation for Bay Lake Tower is mid November. We’re staying in an 3 bedroom villa, which only exist on the higher floors that are currently under renovation. Will those rooms be renovated by then? If not, what happens? I rented points through a DVC website and am not a DVC member myself. Would Disney contact me directly about any changes or would it all go through the third party company I rented from?
Thanks for your help! This is my first time renting DVC points so having this curveball thrown at me is making me anxious about our trip!
Lake view. Could they maybe only renovate a few of the 3 bedroom villas at a time to keep the others in circulation? I know they’re aren’t many of them in total. Is it lake view or theme park view? Doesn't seem like they are doing the entire top floor at once according to the photos.
It appears they are doing the south tower and the center tower currently. If the accessible one is in the north tower I would think you'd be ok.Lake view. The complicating factor is that we booked an accessible room, and I think there’s only one of those among the 3 bedroom villas (at least according to the room finder on Touring Plans!)
There is one accessible room and according to Touring Plans, it’s in the north tower. So hopefully that means we’re in the clear! It appears they are doing the south tower and the center tower currently. If the accessible one is in the north tower I would think you'd be ok.
I wonder if they are just doing under the bed carpets like in Grand Floridian refurb.Update! Someone saw these rugs/carpet(?) outside waiting to be installed today. View attachment 906550
