*** Bay Lake Tower Owners Group***

Since we know the dates that BLT is undergoing refurb this year, I thought I'd ask - do you all know if/where they sell any of the art they take out of the rooms? Have my eyes on one of the Warhol-eqsue Space Mountain prints...
I'd also like one of these!

My husband and I just put a deposit down yesterday for a 140 point BLT contract and we’re so excited!! It went to ROFR yesterday (the seller and resale company have been great so far), fingers crossed for a quick turnaround 🙏
Welcome Home Neighbor!
We are BLT Owners also. I hope you love the resort and make years of great memories!

Thank you!!! We own at CCV already but our first stay on those points was at BLT back in 2019 and we loved it!!! We’re so happy to be getting points for BLT as well 😁

Anyone know why the Lake View Studios are priced higher than the Theme Park View Studios for cash stays at BLT? For the dates that I'm looking at the LV is about $65 more per night pre tax than the TPV. Do they have the same layout?

We just arrived home from BLT today. We heard the construction workers talking in the pool area the other day. It seems they'll be done in another 2-3 weeks.
Too funny. We arrived home today, too. Perhaps we passed each other by the pool.

Can anyone confirm if LV rooms begin on the second floor?

Was the construction on the pool loud while swimming? Hoping they’ll be done by our stay!

Room View Opinion Needed:

I have researched much of the difference of dedicated vs lock-off rooms for BLT. We have a Lake view but at this point I am not sure if my lock-off idea is the best or not. I am sure it does not matter much but my number one concern is getting an actual lake view and looking at the maps the dedicated rooms tend to be closer to the middle and farthest outside of hallways. Would these rooms be "better" views you think? Inside (pool side) seems not ideal to me but if I pick dedicated it seemed that maybe those rooms generally offer higher chances of Lake or good views unless of course we get stuck down low.

What do you all think? Thanks!

A small amount of them from what I saw on some of the maps. Lake view is very broad it seems with many of them being hardly appealing if you get it but there is always a pro to certain rooms.

We were there for over a week and work was being done some days, but not all of them. No real noise at all, they were painting. You do see them walking back and forth a bit, but that's about it.

We’ve been in one bedroom lake views. Strangely, the same room on three different floors. This time it was 8035 on the 10th floor. It was the first room to the right of the elevator. The room was the first in the curved part of the building. It wasn’t center with a dead center lake view. When on the balcony, direct view was more of the rooms across the way and pool. Angled view was lake. Pro is that the room is very close to the elevator. We’ve had this room (first from elevator) on floors 5, 7 and 10. All were a good height. 5th floor meant no elevator for walkway to CR. So, all in all, we liked the location combined with the lake view. These rooms would all be 2BRs lock-offs.

I would personally take this as a 2BR lock-off (and I don’t like lock-offs) over the 1BR lake view on the 2nd floor that I was originally given. I didn’t go into the room so I don’t know if it could have been a 2BR lock-off.

Good info. Yeah always a pro to most rooms and I mainly just want to make sure my points were used wisely. I want a view for grandma as she enjoys morning coffee and want the room to feel special (since it may be in the middle of construction period with tired rooms). Personally I just want something to look at but the water probably is what she prefers.
