We are arriving next week and staying in a 2 bedroom at BLT. We arrive by plane in the afternoon but my in laws arrive by train in the morning. I cannot recall if BLT has its own check in desk? Bell Services/luggage assistance?
Also, I am the lead guest on the reservation and I have completed online check in. Will my in laws be able to “check in” to see if the room is ready? They’re not the most tech savvy so checking in the app isn’t the best solution, and we will be in the air when they arrive. Thanks!

Last time I was at BLT 2 years ago the check in desk in BLT was staffed and there was bell hop luggage assistance.

My guess is that if you’ve checked in online and the in-laws are listed on the reservation that they will be able to access the room when ready.

Although your in-laws arrive in the morning, don't expect the room to be ready in the morning. Yes, BLT has bell services in their lobby, and they can hold on to your luggage until your room is ready. Your in-laws can drop off their bags, and then browse around the Contemporary and/or other monorail resorts to grab a meal or spend a little bit of time until the room is ready.

We love BLT! BLT has it's own full lobby with a check in desk, concierge desk, and bell services desk.
Your in-laws should have no trouble. If you've done online check in, they don't need to worry with the app. They can go to the desk to see if the room is ready. It probably won't be in the morning. But Bell Services will hold their luggage if they want to roam around a bit while they wait for you/the room. We like to explore the resort, especially if we have first-timers with us. Lots of things to see in the Contemporary. It's always also fun to hop the monorail and go to the other resorts to look around, especially the Poly (dole whips, yay!).

Unless it's changed the Front Desk and Bell Services Desk at BLT aren't staffed 24/7. The hours they are actually staffed used to be 6 (or 7) am to 10 pm daily. Outside of those hours, you have to go over to the main Contemporary building where they are staffed 24/7.

The main desk is definitely staffed later than 10pm. In February, we came in at 2am after a private event at Universal and at 1am after MK Deluxe hours and there was someone there both times. Concierge desk has limited hours for sure. Bell Services was not standing around there at 2am, but they may have had someone around they could call if needed.

Great thank you everyone! We definitely don’t expect the room to be ready in the morning but I wanted to be sure they would be able to check
just in case. Then they’ll drop their bags at bell services and probably go to MK since I made them park reservations. We land around 2:30 and can then text them our room number if it’s ready before we arrive.
