Bay lake or poly with toddlers

I haven't stayed at BLT but if you are comparing studios, I believe the ones at Poly are bigger than BLT. The also had a bathroom with a separate shower that made bath time easier and quicker.

Not a bathroom with a separate shower. Just a separate shower space. No extra toilet. Just one.

What about a 2 bedroom at blt or 2 studios connected at poly?!the 2 studios are a lot cheaper. How much longer is it to get to Epcot from blt compared to walking to ttc at poly?
I don't think any DVC has connecting studios. Usually tudios, when the connect, connect to a one-bedroom. This creates flexibilty - they can be indvidual units, or be used as a two bedroom lockoff.

But really, probably OP doesn't need two bedrooms for two adults and two toddlers.

Studios can connect to another studio at the Polynesian. It's the only location that has that set up.

Hello! i know this is an older thread but I'm finding myself in a similar situation. I've stayed in Poly hotel rooms more than 10 years ago, never poly DVC studios. I've stayed in a 2 BR at BLT more recently and loved it! I currently own at CCV and BLT. We are planning our next trip in the spring and at the time it will be an infant, toddler and my wife and I. I am sooo torn on where to stay (7 nights) ......

Pros for BLT/Studio
Walking distance to MK
Covered walkway to CR/restaurants
California Grill or pavilion on 4th FL to watch fireworks
True Kitchenette
BLT less crowded (less tourism traffic)
pretty good soundproofing bw rooms/hallway
chef mickey

Cons for BLT/studio
Space: from what you all said, really surprised to find only 339 sq ft!
Double sleeper couch (not even queen)
No trundle pull down for toddler
Pack and play needs to go by front/connecting door? (prefer to be in the room at base of sleeper couch. is that feasible?
Stroller storage on patio?

Pros for Poly/Studio
Honeymoon there and first ever disney trip. (special place for me :)
Space, space, and more space - 465 sq ft.
Recently soft refurb room
murphy queen instead of sleeper sofa
second bathroom (though less important to me with little ones)
Ohana and ohana character breakfast
trader sams and dole whip!
pools and beach area
walk to epcot monorail

Cons for Poly/studio
Tourist hotspot - as some of you mentioned always packed and not by hotel/dvc guests
more spread out
More DVC Points - for the stay im looking at 47 additional points (i can use but was going to bank)
no covered walkways if rains
boat (with stroller having to be folded) or having to access monorail to get to MK (more leaving the park then getting there)

Literally i keep going back and forth every day!! i currently have BLT booked. do i leave or do i move to Poly? PLEASE HELP me decide :)

Also worth noting i am planning a second trip later next year. i have enough points for a studio but may look for 1 BR for that trip so points not critical but a factor.
