Just curious for all you "bulk loaders" out there ... on your next WDW trip you had to choose just one buffet/family style restaurant to enjoy in the resorts, which one would it be? I'll leave criteria up to you - could be taste, value, atmosphere, whatever. And if you can take a moment to explain your choice, great.

We're taking three teenagers to Disney in less than two weeks, and the two guys eat like cattle on a finishing lot, and will eat most anything. I've eaten at all the ones I've listed except 'Ohana, but I want your opinion, not necessarily what you'd think is best for us.

Thanks!

ohana ohana ohana

love how cozy it feels. If it were mostly younger kids i might say chef mickeys but ohana at night with the "big" guy playing the lukilea****** that small guitar thing ohana rocks. it feels warm and homely and brings out the family spirit to me.

they get the kids involved in games while the parents look on in excitement and i need to go back like right now BYE

...who ask to go to Chef Mickey's on every trip! And, yes, we usually induge them. They are now 7 and 10 and the magic of Mickey has not worn off - and hopefully never will!

This is where my DS5 wants to go for his birthday breakfast. The dancing and napkin twirling add to the fun. Minnie danced the entire dance with my DD2 (who just happened to be wearing her Minnie dress ;) ). Great selection on the buffet but my DD just kept eating more bowlfulls of orange slices  .

I votedfor Boma but 'Ohana's is a close second. The atsmophere at AKL puts Boma just a little ahead of 'Ohana's, but if you had younger kids the sitdown service, fun/games would put 'Ohana's at the top. Both have wonderful food and are in great locations.

I can't vote on these, since I have not tried any of them.

Someone please post a reply to tell where each of these are located. They sound like they would be worth a trip.

I like WCC! I like the food and love visiting WL.

My favorite breakfast buffet is Cape May:D

Ohana- Polynesian
1900 park faire- Grand Floridian
Whispering Ganyon- Wilderness Lodge
Chef Mickeys- Contemporary
Cape May Cafe- Beach Club
Boma- Animal Kingdom Lodge

I think for dinner it's a close race between Cape May and 'Ohana. For breakfast, you can't beat the all-you-can-eat Mediterranean Feast at Spoodles!! :)

For price/value the Trail's End is good for all 3 meals!

Can you edit your poll for trails end?;) We tried this buffet for the first time this past week and loved it! We've had better buffet meals at the other resorts, but this would win hands-down for its value. We also ate at Ohana again--and loved it--but it sure was expensive compared to trails end.

Doggone it, I KNEW I'd forgotten something. Just use Trail's End as a write-in. I can vouch that breakfasts are always a great value and plenty tasty.

'Ohana for dinner.
We ate there last week. Wow! What a meal! It was great!
If you make 5 p.m. ressies ask for a window seat. When the fireworks started at 6 they dimmed the lights and we had a perfeft view of the fireworks.

This was a tough vote for me, since two of our favorite restaurants are Chef Mickey's and Cape May. When we go tis summer, we are planning meals at both. Wish I could've split my vote.

We always, always, always go to Chef Mickey's for breakfast at least twice during our trip!!!

I voted for 'Ohana, but would not miss Boma either.

The reason I choose to vote for Ohana rather than Boma was for a couple of reasons.....they both have delicious foods. However, I liked the table service you recieved at Ohana, rather than having to wait in Buffet lines. I also loved our window view of the castle at Ohana's.

Being a Southerner myself and having a teenage boy I know we would prefer the ribs and chicken at either WC or Trails End. So that's what I would pick for just one. We will be going to Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare and possibly Ohana's on our trip as well though.

I voted for Chef Mickey's, but it really is a tie between that and Cape May Buffet. They are our two favorites, and both are must do dinners for each trip. BTW, we have two teenaged DD's who love both!:):D:)
