When we bought our recliners, no matter what brand they were, we were told the motors were all BMW automotive power window motors. Google search indicates that would be 12 volts, and less than 100 watts. So a $50 surge protector battery backup like this would work. https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics...-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1I would check the capacity of the UPS. It makes little sense to have the power (watts) that meets the requirement and runs out of capacity halfway through the cycle. Again, I would aim for a UPS that exceeds the power and Ah requirements (say ~20%). Self-discharge on a battery meeting a minimum requirement doesn't provide enough buffer for many applications (like yours).
