No your not.
But uhm.. why did you go see it if you didnt like batman..?

i thought i was going to like it and my friend wanted me to see it with her.

I wasn't that much into the old Batman series either, but Nolan's take on Batman is amazing.

I liked the old Michael Keaton Batmans, but it doesn't compare to Batman Begins or TDK.

I never really watched Batman, never paid attention to it. When Heath Ledger died, and they showed the trailer, I was intrigued. I admit, part of it was to see Heath, he was foxy and I wanted to see his performance. I began reading about the characters and I got really excited.

When I watched the movie, I was in awe with all the characters. This will definitely be the DVD I'll watch over and over again! No doubt about it.

i saw it again last night with my brother, but geez, the crowd there sucked; alot.
whenever there were some reallyreallyreally funny parts, (i.e: nurse costume, pencil trick, interogation(sp?) room, etc.), no one laughed except my brother, this guy behind us, this couple next to me, and I.
i was like, "why isn't anyone laughing?!"

Did anyone else find the scene where the Joker leaves Harvey's hospital room, and puts the purell on his hands?

I was ROFL. I mean, the Joker is supposed to be this crazy sadistic freak that doesn't care about anything and kills people. And there he is putting purell on his hands.

I know, I'm weird.

i thought that was funny my dad dident get it but i dident think it was as funny when he was messing with the detonator out side the hospital thought that was hlarious and i also loved the scar stoires i wonder how he really got them

The joker reinvents himself everyday. He actually has a new story everyday for how he got his scars. Thats why theres 2 different stories. No doubt if he told batman a story it would have been one he fabricated sometime in the last 24 hours.

I don't think he cares that much to reinvent himself. He tries to tell a convincable story to everybody he wants to share it with, thus surrounding his identity and origins with mystery.

Remember in the opening bank heist scene, where even the people who were working with him were saying "I heard this guy.." or "And I heard..".

Anyway on the imdb it says that they give no exact explanation of his origins because they want to portrait the character as absolute.

I think he is trying to show that he doesn't really have a plan for what he does or what comes out of his mouth. He is a genious. "Do I look like a man with a plan?" And yet he works to unravel everyone else's plan in the process.

I know, hes crazy enough that he just has a new story in his head everyday.

Ok I was talking to my dad and he said that in the 1930's they said in the comic books that he fell into a toxic waste dump. His face is apparently not covered in make up even tho in the movie it is. and that is how he got the scars. Thats wat i know.
