I actually LIKED that she died. It was something so different in a superhero movie...the girl NEVER dies, but they took a huuuuuge risk in this movie with that (among all he other crazy amazing risks they took) and i think it really worked because it totally surprised everyone.

Yep, it totally made a point to differentiate The Dark Knight from other superhero movies. I couldn't see them killing off Rachel in a million years though, it was quite the twist!

As for the actresses, I don't care for either, but I think Maggie Gyllenhall is a better actress and was better as Rachel in The Dark Knight.

I'm extremley envious of my brother's bathing suit. He just got batman swim trunks! totally uncool and I want it sooooo bad.

And I feel awful that Batman's first love is dead. :[
I just feel so bad for him. First his parents are killed and now his best girl friend he's known since they were kids is dead. That was really shocking.

Oh. My. GOD! That was phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got back. Best 3 hours of my life!!!!!!
Even though I probably suffered some severe bladder problems (I guess a medium coke wasn't the best choice...)
I can't even begin to describe how good that movie was!!!
Best Batman movie ever created!
