I know. I'm not saying it isn't but there was this big deal about it a few days ago.

Oh I know I read the article. Many deceased actors were snubbed at the Oscars....but you never know. Personally I believe it all depends on the competition.

ooh well im not sure if it was before or after the opening scene... it might have been AFTER the bank heist i believe... but it was in the parking lot with the drug bust... the scarecrow was the guy with the sack on his head and all of the fake batmans popped up

The opening scene is the bank heist scene.

You can see the Scarecrow in the scene in the parking lot. After the real Batman shows up, he makes around four or five citizen Batmans and Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy) to sit against a parking lot wall. He (Scarecrow) even makes a small conversation with Batman but it's easy to miss.

It is said that Scarecrow had a cameo in The Dark Knight to bring a closure to his character, because his status was left somewhat unsure from Batman Begins.

At the movie theatre I work at last night we BEAT our ALL TIME record for most people in a day!! ON A SUNDAY!!!! All our shows sold out...ON A SUNDAY! hahaha.
we had 7800 people!! And I think it's safe to say probably 7000 of them were for TDK! lol.

I gotta go see it again in IMAX.

Oh, also, I was THIS close to winning a flippin huuuge Joker banner!!! boooo

I really TRULY hope they don't make a 3rd movie though, they'll NEVER EVER be able to top this one!! I'd be afraid that a 3rd one would just ruin it. (Like SPiderman 3 and Xmen 3 and Aliens 3)

Ah yeah I saw it yesterday! We had to wait on a line almost out the door, just to get in the theater where you sit to see the movie!! It was insane! I love Heath Ledger so extremely much. :/

As much as I would love to see how everything ends out, I DON'T want the batman movies overdone like POTC. Looking back at it now, POTC was overkill! lol

amloveaffair--yeah they are signed on for a 3rd but I've read all over the place that all 3 of them AND the director have agreed that they won't make it if they aren't 100% able to top this one.
...which is basically impossible, so I'll be surprised if there is ever a 3rd.

OMG Mad Money was like the worst movie. I hate Katie Holmes though and Maggie is so much better IMO!

I know what you mean. I'm addicted to tabloids and People magazine and entertainment shows and EVERYTIME I hear about Heath I get so sad. I wish he could enjoy the success he would get from this movie.
