Batman on TV Land

I was a big fan of the "Batman" tv show as a child, so I'm glad to see TV Land showing it again on Saturday nights.

I love the subtle humor to be found watching the show. For example: last week I saw an episode in which Batman and Robin were hot on the trail of The Riddler. The Dynamic Duo followed the trail to the Gotham City Library. They walked up to the elderly librarian and asked in a quiet voice (remember, they're in the library, wearing the Batman and Robin costumes) "Have you seen anyone come in wearing a strange outfit? In particular, a man in a green suit covered with question marks.."

LOL! I didn't know that! I'll have to watch it...

Batman was LITERALLY my first word! At age 2, I was dancing around my Grandmothers house to the theme song, singing only the word "Batman"

Needless to say, my Mom wasn't thrilled, but it did give her an inkling of just how "different" I would be growing up!

Try being in the sixth grade when this show first came on with a name like ROBIN....

I also saw it when it originally aired. It was also one of the few color shows on. I loved the color, but also the tongue in cheek humor.
