We'll be going on the all day excursion to the Baths with Disney. What should be bring with us vs what will Disney- if anything beyond transportation, a tour, and lunch- provide? Do we need a dry bag to keep things dry while exploring the caves? Snorkeling gear? Towels? Etc. Assuming we'll bring passports, key the the world cards, sunblock, sunglasses, a change of clothes (left on the bus?), cash for Poor Man's Bar, bug spray (needed?), etc. Anything else to consider?

The bus doesn’t wait for you, so don’t leave anything there. Loved having a dry bag. I’d go as minimal as possible. We did the half day. I definitely think I’d take snorkel gear if you already have it. Disney hands out towels as you get off the ship-so you keep up with them. I had a tote for those. You’ll be lugging your stuff through the caves. Sunblock needs to be reef safe. I didn’t need bug spray on this one.

I have been to the baths several times but not on a cruise excursion*** Planning on returning on this excursion in the Spring.
I'd bring a dry bag. Im not planning on bringing snorkeling equipment- just enjoying the baths/beach and snorkeling in St John/Thomas and Castaway days. I'd wear some water shoes or chacos or keens. Any time I take a Disney excursion I now bring water and small snack for everyone in our party. I know disney provides towels, but I bring turkish towels because they pack way smaller (about 1/3 the size), dry a lot faster and I have a lot of people in my family that aren't big enough to carry their own stuff all day. I also recommend a clear waterproof lanyard pouch for your phone to take pictures and have it with you outside of the dry bag.

We packed VERY light. Wore Keens (or similar) and a coverup over suits. Backpack with towels and water bottles, sunscreen and a light snack. And key to the world cards, and some cash for tips. Did NOT bring passports.

(Wore sunglasses, did not bring dry clothes, did not bother with snorkel. Beach was very wavy, just had fun playing in it.)

Are passports not needed generally on excursions. We stop at Castaway, Tortola and San Juan

we brought uncrustables and bags of chips as snacks to have once through the caves and at the second beach. A very special memory

I think I read on the boards that they didn't have the Uncrustables on the room service menu anymore?!? I have ordered them and taken them ashore like this and it was so nice, I hope it's not true.

We did the baths excursion with Disney last year and it included a lunch buffet at the end of the tour at a restaurant at the end of the baths, it was quite tasty and they had GF options for me. If you are prone to sea sickness the boat that took us out to the baths was really rockin and I watched a few people get sick so plan on some meds or sea bands. We wore water shoes and the guide told us to go barefoot through the boulders section because it’s easier to navigate and grip the stones. When they call people to line up after the first beach area get as close to the front of the line and you will be first to go through the boulders and not be stuck in a slow line to navigate them. It was a great excursion.

I bought the family waterproof hiking shoes for this excursion and was glad I did. They really helped since it is a hike and you are traversing through water in certain parts. We also packed light since you have to maneuver through the caves. The bags we bought for this were also waterproof since the water can reach your waist at certain points.
