What are the bathrooms like in the parks? Plentiful? Clean? Our dd is 5 and seems like she is constantly having to go so thought I'd ask.

The only park in which I find myself "searching" for a bathroom is at Epcot in Futureworld (World Showcase has one in every land, I think). This is also the only park I tend to get lost in! LOL!

The other parks seem to have bathrooms everywhere, and the bathrooms are all large, with many stalls.

In the parks, bathrooms are pretty easy to find. As far as clean, they are usually, although I've had my share of gross park bathrooms.

Bathrooms in the resorts are often very beautiful in addition to being clean.

omg...heheh...ask my father in law...we joked that he was doing the WDW tour de bathrooms last week. hehehe...we figure between the 2 of us we hit every one in the world. :)

the ONLY place I had a hard time finding a rest room was downtown disney marketplace for some reason...i was near the big world of disney store and it took me a while to find one (ended up just walking over to McD's.) they are usually pretty clean

We seemed to find bathrooms around evert turn at all of the parks. They were all very large and most of them were very clean which was a nice surprise!

They are clean, just beware of the LOUD flush! It might startle your little girl. My daughter (now 11) & I have have a running joke whenever we're at Disney...when we hear it we always ask each other, "Are you all right in there???" :flower:

The nearest restroom to the World of Disney store in DD is at the back of the Ghirardelli Chocolate shop. It is a small one, though, 2-3 stalls.

There are also quite a few family bathrooms, which are really liked with my 2 DDs were younger.....

Hello ~

I'm OCD, and I find the bathrooms, plentiful, clean and always near where I'm searching for one!

If you ever find one that is 'not up to par', let someone know and they'll take care of it!

My DD5 is extremely afraid of automatically flushing toilets! At every potty break she would ask if it flushes by itself & we'd say YES, and she'd panic.

The bathrooms are clean, and pretty much easy to find, but we couldn't wait to get home to our MANUAL toilet!

Oh I'm so glad it wasn't just my girls! That was our one problem at WDW - the automatic flushers. When DD was 3, she was terrified and would hold it til the last possible second because she didn't want to use those toilets. :earboy2:

Its funny you mention the automatic flushers. DD is terrified of them. The first time we were in a restaurant that had them, it started to flush while she was still going and she leaped of the toilet mid-pee. Now everytime we are in a public bathroom, she asked if it will flush itself. Should be an adventure lol.

Carry a packet of post it notes. Stick the post it note over the sensor. When your preschooler leaves the stall, remove the post it note and the toilet flushes.......

In a pinch, wet toilet paper works too, but is more gross. (You don't care much, however, when your five year old is dancing and refuses to sit).

There is actually a restroom IN the World of Disney. Its back in the corner in the toy area. With a little boy potty training this last trip and one that was barely potty trained two years ago when we first started going to Disney, I am pretty sure we found EVERY LAST ONE of them lol

I have always found them to be very clean as well.

And in addition, all of the resturaunts have restrooms, most of which can be accessed without walking through the resturaunt. For example, if I remember correctly, there's one at LTT right by the front door, but upstairs. And the CMs are quite used to the fact that kids need a restroom NOW and will be happy to point you to the resturaunt's restroom even if you're not eating there.
