What are the lines for the bathrooms like? I am going in Aug which means that I need to drink lots of water. I am also one of those people that it doesn't matter how much I sweat I will need to make frequent bathroom trips with the water I consume. The first time my family did Six Flags I drank the recommended amount of water and had to take a break after every ride. There were hardly any lines that day too. Last time my family did a trip to Six Flags I purposely didn't drink a lot of water and found myself feeling like I had a hangover the next day. No time for a hangover in Disney! (Sorry if this is too much info) I need to prepare myself mentally for these lines.

It depends on the bathroom. For example, the women's restroom in the Canadian pavillion in Epcot only has 2 stalls, but the women's restroom in the United Kingdom is much larger. As long as you visit one of the larger bathrooms, you'll be fine.

Enjoy your trip!

I have never run into a line in the Disney bathrooms. But we also go in Sept so there is barely lines for the rides...let alone bathrooms :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2 I don't remember waiting in any lines. I've always thought there were so many restrooms throughout the parks!

I've never had a problem either - and the facilities are clean considering the volume (esp. compared to the 6 flags here in NJ!! :scared1:

I went in August once and I never waited on a line. And I had frequent potty breaks! :lmao:

It can be a matter of timing too. NEVER go directly after an event such as show letting out or parade over--instead go just before while someone holds your parade spot or just prior to the show. We leave tomorrow and never have any of us had a problem finding ample RRs in June/July;)

Have you ever talked to your doctor about this? It sounds like you might have an overactive bladder. There are prescription medications out there that are lifesavers for people who need to go a lot. I use Oxybutin and it is like a miracle. I use to need to go all the time, but with the medicine I am "normal". My family doctor suggested kegal exercises which did nothing...thankfully my OB/GYN listened to me and prescribed Oxybutin. If you have any more questions, please ask. Good luck.

We were there last August and never had a problem with bathroom lines and I go alot. (like alot alot) I found that if I went into some of the counter service restaurants to go we also got to cool off with the A/C's and my family could sit and wait and get a free cup of ice water while they waited!!!

I agree with jakenzie32, talk to your OB/gyn. I take detrol due to large kidneys, extremely small bladder, AND overactive. The detrol was like a miracle--I could not ride in a car for more than 30 miles, sometimes even less, without a bathroom break. (We drive from PA--Ha! Ha!) I can now go about 2 1/2 hours without having to stop. I've never had any trouble with the bathrooms at DW in August either. Good Luck!

Thanks for the suggestion. I have thought about it asking the Dr but it only seems to bother me based on how much water I drink. I am also on medication for some other health issues and really want to limit the amount of prescription meds I take. I know that if I could give up the caffine that would help but I just haven't been able to do it. I've always been like this. Even in college I was in the bathroom twice per beer and I drank a lot of beer in college! :drinking1 Now that I have pretty much given that up I don't think I want to go without the caffine. Everyone needs a vice right? :surfweb:

We have never run into any lines for bathrooms in WDW. I can see how important this info would be, so my suggestion is to find out where the bathrooms are and be prepare to hop if you should find a large line in one - then you would know in advance where another option is and go and find them quickly.

The only place that I had an issue was at Nine Dragons in Epcot. The TS and CS share the 4 stall restroom. It was quicker to walk to the next country than wait in line. It was 10 women deep in there. I know that have to go a lot feeling. My family says that I have the bladder of a squirrel. :rotfl2:

I drink loads of water as i can get kidney infections when it's hot. I have never had to wait anywhere in WDW. The restaurant loos are sometimes small and you may have to wait a minute or so but out in the parks there are enough to not have to wait.

The loos are always clean and tidy and don't smell like a urinal. Watch out for the automatic flush though!

IMHO, every restroom that I ever used at Disney was very clean and I never waited very long. I even remember the powdered soap dispensers:)

Bathrooms are plentiful, very clean (and the ONLY time I found one that wasn't I mentioned it to a CM and they immediately called for it to be cleaned!), and it is so appreciated!

The thing that blows my mind about Disney bathrooms is how amazingly clean they are! Even at the campground, the lowest end place you can stay in the world, the bathrooms were spotless!
